Let's set up two online music streams - one in Cailfornia and one in China - so we can hear the music the other is listening to.

Live Video Conference

College of the Siskiyous would be happy to provide their Polycom video conference system to us for a live video chat between the students in California and China.

Ervin - does anyone in your hometown in China have this hardware or capability? Or perhaps we could do a chat with students at Zhejiang University, using their Polycom setup? Or how about Skype?

Our school uses a web-based real time program called Elluminate for some online middle & high school programs. It's got live video, audio, and text interface as well as virtual whiteboards where you can draw, type, and post content. Maybe it could be a platform for international collaboration. All that's required is a high speed internet connection, and the interface itself is managed through Java apps.
