Welcome! This is the home of Looking and Listening : Inside/Out, a video and sound exchange project between students in Northern California and China.

By recording how we experience our homes and then exchanging these sounds and images with peers across the Pacific, the project aims to help youth and their communities become more active in the complexities and nuances of local and global stewardship. What does that involve? Getting our hands dirty, building connections, asking questions, and having a good time doing it.

What can we learn about ourselves when we interact with others a world away? What can we learn about the world when we look closely at our own communities?

Getting Around

If you're a student, this is your project -- it's depending on you make the rules, ask questions, post videos, sounds, and pictures, and add anything else that you see fit. Please edit away... email Nathan if you don't have the password.
